Your garden is great! Did you plant a variety of tomatoes or are they all the same type?
Do you have tomatoes starting or probably red by now. LOL
I didn't realize you had to thin it Dale. Perhaps that is why my corn was only a couple cobs per stalk last year, even tho I put my plants 3 feet apart, they may have been too close. Corn and tomatoes are yummy fresh.

Planted Big Boy tomatoes Doreen. We have tomatoes on the vine, but no red ones yet.
We've picked 5 bags of beans since Friday (Walmart plastic bags), 6 cucumbers and Friday hubby dug up another 5-6 lbs. of potatoes.
The beans are beginning to slow down, but I noticed more blossoms. The squash (acorn and butternut) both have small squash starting (some butternut are about 5 in. long but have a long way to go).
As for the corn... lots of it out there. Personally, I'd rather buy it myself when I want it. Peaches and Cream is really good...but it's not what we planted. We'll get a few ears of that from our neighbor.

Picked a cantaloupe tonight. It's actually too ripe, so it will have to be eaten quickly.

my tomatoes are turning also. i have grape, plum, beef master, park's whopper, and super fantastic. i canned one quart last week and 1 1/2 qts today. i've got 5 bags of sweet corn put up, just 2 cups per bag so it's enough for dinners. my friend gave me some green beans and i got 6 2 cup bags of them put up. our watermelon and melons are doing pretty good. the one melon is looking like a melon now. how do you know when to pick them linda??? also did you ever hear of open kettle canning for green beans where you add a little vinegar to the water so there is enough acid to do them that way???

Good for you Barb. Our tomatoes are finally coming on. They sure are good. They actually taste like a tomato (not the kind from the store).
We've also been eating a lot of acorn squash. The butternut's aren't doing that much though. I've probably picked 7 cantaloupe's so far. I've kept 3 and given some away. I can only eat so much of it when they come on at the same time.
