175 ml milk 1 tbsp butter 3 tbsp sugar 1 tspn salt 350g g bread flour 2 tspn yeast
40 gram raisins 11/2 tbsp soft butter 50 gram brown sugar 1 tspn cinnamon
Put first six ingredients in bread machine. Set for white bread dough stage Press start. Add raisins after first kneading or when machine pips to add fruit.
Remove butter from fridge to soften. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon Butter a 24cm loaf tin.
Remove dough and punch down. Let it rest for 5 mins. Rollit out on a lightly flouured surface and form a rectangle about 20 cm wide by about 40 cm long. Spread the butte and sprinkle the brown sugar over surface. Roll into a fat 20cm long cylinder. Tucking edges under put in loaf tin Cover loosly and put to rise for one hour
Bake tjeoaf in a preheated oven 180C 350F gas 4. until top is brown and a skewer comes out clean. (about 25 - 30 min) Remove bread from pan and put on wire rack. Let it cool at least 30mins so the hot sugar does not burn you.

Thank you Penny. I'll print it out and then convert the measurements. We don't use grams or ml in our recipes here. No problem though. This sounds really good.
