We bought an HDMI cable to connect our pc monitor to our flatscreen tv and until we figured out how to duplicate our monitor we could only use one or the other but resolution on both looked great. Once we figured out how to duplicate it it looked great on the tv but was completely distorted on the monitor, does anyone know how to adjust the monitor so it's not so whacked out?
This is what we have ~
Studio Slim-Tower, Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 (2.93GHz, 3MB) 4GB DDR2 SDRAM 800MHZ- 4X1GB,DIM,M
Windows 7
ATI Radeon HD 4350 512MB Graphics card

not sure what he did but I believe there are settings for dual monitors to set A and B each to their best resolutions. Glad it worked out.

For our monitor and tv it was #1 and #2, I think on the XP it was A and B but I'm not positive. Thanks Doreen, I'm glad too, it'll be easier to keep up with my email from the couch after I have surgery on my elbow.
