Just got three pair of prescription on eye glasses ( bifocals) from this place for less that the cost of one pair at my regular eye glasses place. They are PERFECT!!! Husband got two pair and is really happy with his too. www.eyebuydirect.com/Just get your prescription from your eye doctor or Optician { it's your legal right } and your pupilary distance or PD and order. If you can't get the PD, just go with their default of 63mm. That is the average. It takes about two weeks to receive them...

Much less, there are places even cheaper I think I have seen before. If you want to see what frames look like on you before you buy, upload a picture here www.framesdirect.com/framefinder.aspI know contacts are less on line often. glad you are happy with them. I just signed up an insurance for $36 a year that gives me an eye and contact lens exam, which is not a great deal just for glasses but it is more than that and way more than that for contact lens exam. $3/ month. through Midwest Insurance.

Great tool, Doreen, thanks.
A quick check on that site for prices comperable to the frames and lenses I got, show they are a whole lot more expensive than the ones I got.
