This program I highly recommend , in place of System Restore . I, and many others, have had EXCELLENT results with it . It will created a new restore point, each day you log in, and to restore, you need to go to C/Windows, and find Edert, and then select the day that you wish to restore to . If any members have problems, just contact me, and I will help you . ; * ERUNT: The Emergency Recovery Utility NT www.freedownloadaday.com/2009/06/06/erunt-the-emergency-recovery-utility-nt/P.S. If you were to install this program, uncheck ''System Restore '' , when you have done so . Auto Backup ;

Your program sounded good to me so I have down loaded it and have it installed, but when I go to C/windows I can not find the word Edert that you said to find to restore the system. I do find the word ERDNT and when I click that a folder opens with dates in it but it doesn't look like yours. Would this be what I am looking for and just click the date I want to go back to? I don't need to use it yet and haven't tried clicking on any dates but want to be sure if I know what I'm doing if that day does come. THANKS

YES!!!, Sir , I am sorry, you indeed do have the correct name, namely '' ERDNT '' That is where all you daily BACKUPS are kept ( if of course you reboot, daily ? ) and to RESTORE, just select the date that you desire to go back to, and it will bring up a screen, in which you then '' click '' on the GREEN '' ERDNT '', and it will then restore . Take note, that it will need to restart, after having done so . A VERY GOOD program, which has saved my '' bacon '', several times . As previously mentioned, it is advisable to '' UNSELECT '' your Windows '' RESTORE IT '' . Hope that will assist you . P.S . It is also wise to delete, from '' ERDNT '' in Windows C drive, some of the backups, as they can take up unnecessary space, I usually only keep the last week, of Backups

sounds good, I use Norton ghost and it automatically makes backups on another drive. Came in handy when a hard drive crashed, everything was restored to the way it was. great to have back ups.
