My friend gave me this "recipe" for window cleaner which is unbelieveable~I have been using it for awhile now and it DOES not streak and is really good! So I am sharing with all my friends and family...you will never want to buy window cleaner again! Here ya go: 1 cup water 2 drops liquid detergent 1 TBS Vinegar 1 TBS Amonia 1 Teas. cornstarch I have a big spray bottle and double the recipe. Shake it up and I'm good to go! Ok..now have fun washing those windows! Well, ok, maybe not fun..but it will be easier anyway!

Thanks Linda, I will be trying this, just need to get some ammonia. My bathroom mirror is really hard to clean without it streaking. Is the liquid detergent Dish detergent, or laundry detergent? I'm thinking dish, but just want to be sure.

I think I am going to make this tonight and give it a try, although I'm not thrilled with having to use it. Hope it works on car windows too.

If you make it and like it let me know. I've used it in the house, but not on car windows and although I was going to try it, I definitely haven't had the time.
