I used this today and must say it did an excellent job! Our water softener went out several months ago, and in the meantime our dishwasher started getting all this lime buildup. It was getting so bad, that when I ran it, the dishes would have all these white pieces of crud on them, and I'd have to rewash them. Yesterday we got a new water softener, but my dishwasher was still a mess, so I did a little research and saw this product {Dishwasher Magic, which you can get at Walmart for $3.74.} If the buildup is really bad like mine was, it might take two bottles to get it totally clean. It really worked well just one bottle, got almost all the hard stuff off, but it still had a little so I went ahead and used the second one. I'm still running the second bottle through, but will let you know how it looks when I'm finished. I'd recommend it if you have build up in your dishwasher. I had to change the name of this, I had originally said it was Jet dry Dishwasher cleaner. When I got it out of the dishwasher I realized I had got a different one then I went after, but it works great! Here's a picture of it. It's a little faded because it's the one I used in the dishwasher.

I'll have to try this Nancy. I've always used Jet Dry for rinsing but I don't think it 'cleans' the washer.
Thanks for the tip.
