This is an older model Uniden Bearcat 210, 16 channel programmable scanner with search scan. It still looks great and works great. The only reason I'm getting rid of it is because our 911 system in our area for fire calls changed frequencies and this scanner cannot receive them anymore, but it still picks up everything else. If your 911 system is not on a new 800-900 megahertz system this scanner will receive the calls. This also has a search scan feature that will allow you to search different bands to see what is on them. If you search the right bands you might even find your neighbors cordless phone, but since thats illegal I didn't tell ya that. LOL ;D ;D As of now I can't find the manual that came with it but it's very easy to figure out, and I just did a search and found on-line manuals for it. I do have a list of frequencies and some papers that explain how to program in some out-of-band frequencies. The price is $10.00 and we'll figure what the shipping will be if/when it sells.

Sorry Dave, I don't need it, but I'll add my two cents... That's a good brand for a scanner. I actually just recently bought a new hand held bearcat scanner online. I just manually programmed in the frequencies I wanted (Sheriff, city police, EMS, fire) and set it to scan all of them. Once you get going, it doesn't take long to set up. Once you do get it set up, it takes care of the rest.
