If you Bookmark a thread you will recieve an e-mail telling you when someone has replyed to that thread. To bookmark a thread look at the bottem left side of the last post in any thread and you will see in small lettering the words "search" and next to it "bookmark" By clicking on the word bookmark that thread will now be bookmarked and you should recieve an e-mail everytime someone posts a new reply in that thread. If you have a thread bookmarked and would like to remove the bookmark, look in the same place where you clicked on the word "bookmark" and it will now say "remove bookmark" by clicking on it the bookmark will now be removed. If you would like to check and see how many bookmarked threads you have, look at the top of the page at your "Private Message Panel" In the bottem of it you will see a link that says "Open your lists of bookmarked threads" Click on it and it will take you to your list of bookmarked threads.

I'd like to add, that when you have a bookmarked thread, it will disappear if you use the quick reply box to post a reply to it yourself. Why? I don't know --- that's a proboards issue that I believe they are aware of. Nothing I can do about that.
To keep it bookmarked, you need to use the full-featured reply option -- it will have a box checked that you want to bookmark the thread ---- just leave it checked to still have it marked, or uncheck it to un-bookmark it.
