very pretty!! i've got two i've got to get in the ground. I read in one of my gardening books years ago about planting roses, they suggested to add a banana peel in the hole before putting in the rose bush, something to do with the potassium in a banana.I tried it once but not sure it worked ,it didn't seem to make much of a difference. Linda,I have seen a few of these yellow rose bushes in people's yards but there doesn't seem to be very many who have them.

A neighbour of mine has a fantastic yellow rose bush in her front garden!! In full flower too. I'll try & take a pic. They smell simply wonderful too. The thing about rosebushes is, you have to keep dead heading them so that more buds will appear. If you don't, the plant thinks it's done its job & procreated and stops flowering. This applies to lotsa plants actually. Roses like tea leaves (or used teabags, as the case may be!) ;D
