Movies I expected to be good lately, I haven 't been able to watch all of it, but another surprise, for me. THIS was a very good story and true.. Sad when the entire football team, coaches etc all died in the plane crash. And so great when the underdogs won a game. I cried, I laughed, I cheered. Not often, and I mean not often I recommend movies. I'm a real critic.
The new one, Robert Deniro, Matt Damon, Angelina big stars... lost me.. .. not my kinda movie at all. The Good Shepherd I think.

Just for a tid bit of info about this movie.
It was filmed in and around Hunnington WV AND Atlanta,
Ga.
The crash scene was recreated at Charlie Brown Airport, Atlanta by 6 Flags park

Being from West Virginia and knowing some of the people on the plane I cried most of the movie. They did a fine job of acting. It was like living it all over again. Such a sad time and such a sad movie yet it shows that even through grief you can pull everything together. Still to this day most of the staff and students belive those players , staff and fans. Keeps a guiding hand on them as they travel around this country.

I have not seen the movie but remember the actual news day of the tradgedy......It is not far from where I live......I was a senior in high school when it happened ....Morningstar where in w.va. you from???
