i had some home grown tomatoes . a friend of mine has to many so she gave me a lot. oh they are sooooooo good.

I'm enjoying them everyday, but don't really have enough to share with others. I just lost too many plants to the gophers.

Ours aren't doing the greatest either Doreen. What few we've picked have been tasty, but they're sure not ripening as quickly as I thought they would here.

i picked my first tomato yesterday. it's strange that more aren't turning, just the one. lol also picked some grape tomatoes. they're soo sweet!!

Marty picked a green tomater today and fried it up for supper this evening,,,,,,,,NO,I did not eat any of it.........

I don't blame you... blah!!! ;D She likes fried green tomaters....And when she has sliced red tomaters she put sugar on them,, not salt.....My parents thought that was weird.....

We've been eating tomatoes since June 10TH here. Started eating corn the end of June. Water melons are next.

I don't put sugar on my tomatoes now, but I did it all the time when I was a kid. Tasted good too! LOL Fried green tomatoes are the best! Yum! My kids can't wait to start having fried green tomatoes. I keep telling them I want some red ones first. My MIL puts sugar on her tomatoes too, and now my daughter does it. I put it on home canned tomatoes sometimes. It's good!
