How are the gardens? I have had my tomatoes and they are delicious.
Any one else had some?

We've picked two Doreen. Lots out there, but they're taking forever to ripen.
We have about 5-8 cantaloupes that are good sized. One should be ripe this week. Watermelons are small.
40+ squash (acorn and butternut)
Corn is done... we had about 8 dozen total. Green beans (I thought were done) are flowering again. Picking 4-5 cucumbers daily.

I am surprised the corn is done already. I didn't plant anything but tomatoes, for me the rest was too much work and water this year.
It won't be long now and we will all be eating plenty of tomatoes. Only a few more on the vine are ripening, but plenty of green ones.
18 plants, and the gophers got all but 5.

We had two rows of corn (just the two of us) so that was plenty. We're both waiting for the tomatoes. Like you, lots of green ones but only a few ripe.

We only have squash so far, have picked about ten of those, with more about ready. Have lots of tomatoes but they are still green, picked a hand full of green beans today, and will have more in a few days. The cucumbers aren't ready yet, hopefully soon. I'm hoping the tomatoes ripen soon, hate the ones you buy!

My kids still eat 'select' veggies... only corn. My grandchildren are growing up without knowing what other vegetables taste like. ;D We picked three more tomatoes yesterday. Very slow ripening this year.

We picked 3 tomatoes earlier today. Mmmmm... tasted like northern grown tomatoes. About time we had a decent tasting one.
